What’s Right or Wrong With This Picture Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down Sept 1, 2011 PB
Notes to Reviewers Reviewers-- I'm thinking literally to have an image of thumbs up and thumbs down for this presentation. This has not been designed yet at all. Photographs in this file are selected to elicit conversation. Photos of problems or dangerous situations are intentionally included. Photographs in this presentation are drawn from the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center which serves as the national clearinghouse for pedestrian and bicycle issues for the Department of Transportation. For additional resources or images, see: www.pedbikeimages.org If you have additional images you wish to submit for use for this project, you may do so, as long as permission is granted for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for public educational purposes. Further, users of this product may wish to have youth take pictures to use as part of the discussion

Notes to Adult Facilitators Notes on the slides point out important features of the photograph that may be useful as you lead the class discussion. This file has more photos than you should need. Consider eliminating any photos that would be difficult for your participants to relate to. For example, if you work in an rural setting, consider eliminating some of the photos of urban or suburban settings.
