THE HOLY QUR’AN THE SOLIDITY OF THE ATOM AND ELECTRON ORBITS(Surat an-Naml, 88) BASED ON THE WORKS OF HARUN YAHYA WWW.HARUNYAHAY.COM and others PREPARED BY fereidoun.dejahang@ntlworld.com Dr F.Dejahang, BSc CEng, BSc (Hons) Construction Mgmt, MSc, MCIOB, .MCMI, PhD
The Holy Qur'an is the Word of Allah
(Surat an-Naml, 88)
(Surat an-Naml, 88) • The above verse may be a reference to the strength of the atom, the building block of all matter, and to the orbit of the electrons in the atom.
(Surat an-Naml, 88) • Looked at in the context of atoms, Allah’s use of the term “to everything its solidity” can be interpreted as referring to the solidity of the atom, which cannot be broken even if struck with a sledgehammer (Allah knows the truth). That is because objects themselves are not perfectly solid, only the atom is.
The illustration depicts the movement of electrons resembling clouds that constitute matter by joining atoms together, literally like glue.3
The rapid movement of electrons around the atom leads to their resembling clouds.
