The Department’s Responsibilities to You • Student Advising • Advise on courses - Preregistration • Help with academic issues • Guidance Counseling • Study Plan • Provide courses based on study plan with some exceptions • Prerequisites determine the courses you can enroll for • Free Electives from other departments • Study plans can be found on the EC website under ‘Program Information’

Your Responsibilities • Behavior • Uniform • Smart, Respectful, Professional • Attendance • 80% rule – it’s the LAW • Plagiarism • Classroom behavior
Your Responsibilities • Academic • Study Plan • Know which courses you need and when to take them! • GPA • Both Cumulative and Major above 2.0 • Teaching Evaluations • If you don’t stand up for your rights, who will? • Using e-register • Tuition, Graduation Check, Important Dates, Downloadable Forms • Student Biography – make sure email up-to-date
Your Responsibilities • In order to graduate with ‘Honours’: • No credit transfers • No exemptions • You can only take an exemption test if you have no grade showing for that course (including ‘W’) • You can withdraw from a course and receive a ‘W’ if you want to avoid failing it.
Your Responsibilities • Key Dates: Semester 1/2014 • Courses Start – 4th August • Dropping/Adding Classes – 8th August • Withdrawal from Class (W) – 31st October • Finals – 24th Nov to 6th Dec • Calendar available online • http://reg.payap.ac.th/registrar/calendar
