Academic Literacy (AAL) 2.5 Full and Half Year Courses Electives (Fine Art/Practical Art) 2.5 / 5

  3. Practical Arts • Business • Family and Consumer Science • Technology Education • Polytech (only 11th and 12th grade) • Listed under “contents” on the back of the curriculum guide • Need 5 Credits Total for Graduation

  4. Fine Arts • Art • Music and Performing Arts • Listed under “contents” on the back of the curriculum guide • Need 5 Credits Total for Graduation

  5. Scheduling for Freshmen • There are 9 Periods a Day (18 Mods) • 35 Credits Minimum • 42.5 Credits Maximum* • Need a Lunch Each Half of the Year * Credits earned after school are not included.

  6. Class Time and Length * Excludes Classes After School (e.g., Jazz Ensemble)

  7. Main Criteria for the Amount of Electives That Can Be Taken • Level of Science Course • Amount of Study Hall Desired • Number of other Courses that are Taken
