Arjuna ~The most important of the five princes in the Mahabharata ~Krishna's disciple ~ Warrior prince in the Bhagavad-Gita ~Greatest warrior on earth.
~Technically an incarnation of Vishnu Krishna ~Main character of the Gita. ~In battle, he serves as Arjuna's charioteer ~Krishna's name literally means 'The Dark Lord.
Karna ~One of the central characters in the epic Mahābhārata. ~Also known as Radheya. ~He was the King of Anga. ~Karna was one of the greatest warriors ~His martial exploits are recorded in the Mahābhārata, an admiration expressed by Krishna and Bhishma.
Yuyudhana ~ A powerful warrior belong to the Yadava-Vrishni dynasty of Lord Krishna ~Devoted to Krishna ~He trained Arjuna under Drona in military arts.
Drupada ~Drupada is killed by Drona during the great Mahābhārata war ~King of the land of Panchala.
Bhima ~The second of the Pandava brothers. ~One of the central characters of Mahabharata. ~Bhima was distinguished from his brothers by his great stature and strength.
Bheeshma ~Also known as, Devavrata, Bhishma or Bhishma Pitamah. ~Eighth son of Kuru King Shantanu ~One of the most prominent characters of the great Indian epic, the Mahabharata. ~Fights against Arjuna, as one of the elders of the opposing Kaurava family in the Mahabharata War.
Kripa ~Also known as, Kripacharya and Krupacharya. ~An important character in the Mahābhārata. ~One of the seven Chiranjivin (the "immortals" who are to remain alive throughout the present age, the Kali Yuga).
Ashwaththama ~A hero of the Indian epic Mahābhārata. ~Also known as, Ashwatthaman ~He is one of the seven Chiranjeevins. ~Ashwatthama fought on the Kaurava side against the Pandavas in the great Mahabharat war.
Vikarna ~Appointed as the best warrior among the Kauravas by Duryodhana. ~The son of Dhritarashtra ~Kuru hero in the Mahābhārata.
