2. 1st Key Moment • The first key moment in the Outsiders chapter 9 is about Darry, Two bit, Ponyboy, and Soda pop meeting up with the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard at the vacant lot. I chose this as an important moment because they are meeting up for the biggest fight they ever had.

3. 2nd Key Moment • The second key moment in the Outsiders chapter 9 is about Dally breaking out of the hospital. I chose this as a key moment because Dally threatened a nurse with a ten inch switch blade to fight the rumble with the rest of the greasers, even though his left arm is in bad condition.

4. 3rd Key Moment • The third key moment in the Outsiders chapter 9 is about the greasers winning the rumble. I chose this is as a key moment because they Greasers fought the Socs and won and got what they wanted. They were also to run the Socs out of their territory.

The greasers lost a gang member, and also a brother. Johnny was like a brother to Darry, Pony boy, Soda pop, and Dally, and they really be hurt to find out that he is dead.
