How albuterol came about • The FDA approved Albuterol in May of 1982 • The generic name is Albuterol in the Untied States • World Health Organization wanted to name the drug salutamol sulfate, which it is sometimes found under today.   4. Forms Albuterol is prescribed • Ingest as a tablet or capsule • 2 to 4 milligrams 3 to 4 times a day not exceeding 32mg a day • Take with some liquid never chew or crush them • 12 years or older Presented for Dr. Ryan Lambert-Bellacov, chiropractor in West Linn, OR

How albuterol should be taken • Liquid solution: inhale by mouth using a nebulizer (machine that turns medication into a mist) using 3 to 4 times a day only • Aerosol: inhale by mouth using an handheld inhaler. Side effects of albuterol • Uncontrollable shaking of part of the body • Nervousness • Headaches • Nausea • Vomiting • Cough • Throat irritation • Muscle, bone or back pain • IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION NEED • Fast, pounding or irregular heartbeat • Chest pain • Rash • Hives • Itching • Swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs • Increased difficulty breathing • Difficulty swallowing or • hoarseness Common side effects Presented for Dr. Ryan Lambert-Bellacov, chiropractor in West Linn, OR

  8.
