Other items the can be recycled • Appliances • Batteries • Bicycles • Computers • Televisions • Fluorescent Light Bulbs • Scrap metals • Tires
Fairfax County, VA • Located in northern in 2008 • Total Municipal solid waste generated = 1.5 tons per year. • Approx. 6 pounds per person per day. • State laws
