Job description. • Also known as a stunt man or daredevil. • They perform dangerous stunts often as a career. • They typically perform stunts intended for movies or television dramas.
Working Conditions • Maybe outdoors. • May also have to travel. • Noisy conditions and spend long periods on film and television sets.
Earnings • Salaries can range from $5,000 to $70,000 and more per year.
Education • Has to have specialized skills in one or more types of risky, hazardous stunts. • Might have to have a certificate for Martial Arts, Scuba Diving Driving, etc.
Interview • His name was Steve Chang. • He is a stunt man from Hollywood. • He did Martial Arts. • Chang was also in the Marine Corps. • In August 2010, Steve cam to the Gulf Islands Film & Television School, where he hosted a workshop for the students.
