In 1994 Torvalds released the Linux Kernel. This is the heart of all Linux systems and is developed and released under the GNU General Public License.
Thousands of programmers began working to enhance Linux, This is the heart of all Linux systems and is developed and released under the GNU General Public License. And the OS grew and improved rapidly and freely.
Contributors are encouraged to add to the kernel, provided that they keep their contributions free.
Linux is now a main alternative for proprietary Unix and Microsoft Systems…
