WHO are we? • We are a group of grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, brothers, and sisters. We are raising children who are not our own birth children, they have been placed in our care by children's services(DCS), the court or by our own will.
The children in our care have been taken out of the custody of there biological parents, due to drugs, incarceration, or death.
WHAT do we do? • We provide support group meetings twice a month. Child care is provided during the meetings by trained volunteers. We have had over 350 families participate in our group since our first meeting in February 2006.
Community Service • Parenting Classes • Special speakers • Holiday potlucks • Relay for life • Referrals • Partners with World vision, DCS, DAAS, children's network, high desert resource network and participants in community outreach throughout the high desert.
WHEN and WHERE • 1st and 3rd Friday of every month • 7:00 pm -9:00pm • 15150 La Paz DR, Victorville Ca
HOW can you help? • Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer!!! • Donations; clothes, food, toys, personal hygiene products, paper goods, office supplies..etc.
