Plaster Carving • Once the plaster is completely dry, we can use files and rifflers to define a more finished look • Holes may be drilled at this point to form VOID SPACES
Plaster Carving After using the files and rifflers, they MUST be cleaned using a wire brush. This prevents the tools from rusting
Plaster Carving Once the sculpture form is complete, use sandpaper to smooth the texture made by prior tools
