SmartSite Updates • Gradebook Upgrades and Improvements implemented on December 16, 2011 • Focus on export/import processes, Gradebook editing, grade scale improvements, code servicing, and other fixes and requests • Preparations underway for rSmart contract renewal talks • Weekly meetings with Morna Mollor, Paul VerWey, Kirk Alexander (20% FTE), Thomas Amsler and Andy Jones

SmartSite Updates, Continued • Launch of The Wheel, the UC Davis Instructional Technology blog, with a focus on SmartSite improvements, uses, and users. • http://wheel.ucdavis.edu/ • Monthly meetings of the Faculty Users of SmartSite group, with all agendas and comprehensive minutes posted on The Wheel. • Topics have included digital textbooks, future SmartSite tools, new-user concerns, etc.

  4. Faculty – Course Faculty/Staff Admin Student REQUEST SmartSite Depending on the timing and urgency of request. Up to 1 yr. Total time Tier 1 Support – IT Express Tier 2 Faculty Support rSmart Hosts UC Davis Sakai 2 (CLE) Sakai Foundation 6-10 collaborative partners, including: Michigan, Indiana and Cambridge UC Davis GB2 Next Generation rSmart (Sakai 3 OAE) Feature Fix 1-10 months Feature Fix 1 release per yr.
