  3. Facts: • Village Široké lies about 25 km west of the town moved to a main junction between Prešov and Poprad in the mountains of eastern Branisko. It has an area of 25.789 square kilometers and population of 2340 inhabitants.

Motocross areal: • Motocross beginnings in Široké range in the 50's, 20 century, when the boys tried to ride bikes on the ground. The most famous rider of this period was Katriňák Ladislav, Slovak champion.Other known rider was Jozef Drozda, a master in the Czechoslovak army clubs.The year was 2009 CROSS TEAM Široké. • The Sunday, 8/22/2010 will be held the International Championship of Slovak Republic in motocross racing motorcycle individuals.

Parish: • Patron: Saint Nicholas • The first church was built sometime in the 14th century. Since then underwent many changes, most recently in 2006-2008. In reconstructing the last several times enlarge The church, destroyed flood park, and planted new plants, added parking. Future plans: the statue of John Paul 2nd.

Zlatá Studňa: • History of Zlatá Studňa s.r.o. srl began in 1990. • 1990 - ŠOFRANKO-NÁPOJE • 1. 1. 2005 company ZLATÁ STUDŇA s.r.o • Since its birth the company has several stages of development. From small business in the premises of a house, through the position of the first production line in 1991 produced the first lemonade in returnable glass bottle, to the newly built production hall. Today the company operates in an area of 60000 m2.

Tunnel Branisko: • The tunnel excavation began in April 1996, the first May 1999 was officially open and has penetrated into trial operation 29th June 2003. The budget for this tunnel was approximately 350 million EUR. The total length of the tunnel is 4,975 m. Miners at work built on one of the rest statue of St. Barbara, their patron.

Branisko (mountains): • The highest point is Smrekovica hill with a height of 1200 m n. m.Is divided into two zones:-1st North zone Smrekovica-2nd Southern zone SľubiceThe mountains are located mineral springs (Salvator). • All across mountain trail leads from Krompachy until Sabinov. Tourist attractions: Lipovský Kaňon in Lipovce.
