  1. 1Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

  2. 3Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9)

  3. While It Is Day! There is also a limited time for us to do what can be and must be done!

  4. Living In Time • Live godly now - Titus 2:11-14

  5. 11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

  6. 13looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. (Titus 2)

  7. Living In Time • Live godly now - Titus 2:11-14 • While it is day – John 9:4

  8. 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9)

  9. Living In Time • Live godly now - Titus 2:11-14 • While it is day – John 9:4 • Your life a vapor – James 4:13-17

  10. 13Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;  14whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

  11. 15Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”  16But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4)

  12. This Present World • Live godly now - Titus 2:11-14 • While it is day – John 9:4 • Life a vapor – James 4:13-17 • Earth will pass away – 2 Peter 3:10-13

  13. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

  14. 11Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

  15. 13Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3)

  16. Living In Time • Live godly now - Titus 2:11-14 • While it is day – John 9:4 • Life a vapor – James 4:13-17 • Earth will pass away – 2 Peter 3:10-13 • We are strangers here – Hebrews 11:13

  17. 13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Hebrews 11)

  18. Living In Time • Live godly now • Work while it is day • For your life is a vapor, and • the earth will pass away • And we are strangers here

  37. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corinthians 15)

  38. While It Is Day • Be saved • Walk carefully • Cast off darkness • Put on the Lord • Always abounding in the work of God

  39. Each day we are closer to the end of life and to eternity than ever before, either to life or to condemnation. Each one has enough time to do all that God requires, to choose Jesus and live for the one who died for us; to prepare for eternity!

  40. What are you doing with your time? Are you using it to His glory or for your own pleasure? While it is day, while you still have time won’t you believe in Christ and obey Him and be saved? He is waiting for you to come!
