What is sequence of events? • The sequence of events is the order in which events happen • Ex: When making a cake, the first thing you must do is preheat the oven. Finally the last thing you must do is take the cake out of the over before it burns. Then you can enjoy your cake.
What is chronological order? • Chronological order is when events are told in the order in which they actually happened in time • Ex: The students entered the class at 8am where they worked until 8:55am. The students then left the classroom and went on to their second period at 9am. Later that day at 11am they went to lunch. Finally, at 3pm the students went home for the day.
