New* Databases • Jobs • Listing of Jobs of interest to HEP people • Free to posters and searchers • Weeded for closed positions • 20K searches/month (seasonal) • Video • Records of over 2,000 streaming videos of conferences and other talks hosted at many (external) locations *New since last PDG meeting (Jobs:Dec 2002 Video:Feb 2003) T. Experiments DB • Jan 2004 hired part-time Experiments DB maintainer: • Yasuko Weyhrauch • Works with SPIRES at SLAC in other functions • Combination of PDG and SPIRES money paid her through Sept. 2004 T. Brooks/P. Kreitz
Accomplishments • Of the total 2,400 experiments listed, she “touched” over 1,300 • Added 50 new experiments • Scanned laboratory websites like SLAC to update information about experiments • Answered 300 emails from spokespeople, users, etc, relating to experiments information • Numerous other tasks to integrate with other SPIRES DBs T. Brooks/P. Kreitz
Future Plans with PDG • Links to new PDG DB system • Test links already worked • Removed • Will replace when system is ready T. Brooks/P. Kreitz
