events that I remember as major in my life • Being dismissed from school because the sky lab was falling. same year president jomo kenyatta dies.(first president of Kenya) • Going to the convent to become a nun lasted only 30 days. • Coming to America: For university • Having a career and getting married and having children • And, going back to school
Other things that I like… • I love to cook all sorts of foods, travel within America as well as abroad, and teach any time I have a chance • Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love to decorate… • I became interested in teaching when I started spending so much time at my kids school. The students were warm and welcoming and I enjoyed myself very much, hence I decided to not ever return to a cubicle again, but spread my wings in a classroom!
A little bit about Kenya • KENYAN FLAG • Kenya is on the eastern part of Africa . It shares a boarder with several countries to the north is Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia • to the west is Uganda and to the south is Tanzania. To the east IS the Indian ocean. • Unlike most African countries Kenya is very divers with influences from all this countries. • The two most popular languages in Kenya are Swahili and English.
