Setting the Context • We Have Multiple Sources and data sets on Assessment • ASER, PEAC, PEC, NEAS etc • But Why Student Assessments Needed ? • To Get Rid of Low Student Achievements • Cost-Benefit Analysis • How Assessment Results are Used--- Data, Policy, Budget Connections • Disease
