  1. The Conejo Ski & Sport Club presents:7 Day Rafting Trip - Best of the Grand CanyonMonday July 15th thru Sunday July 21st 2013 This is a 7 day motorized rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. We leave from Page UT on Monday July 15th and are on the river until Sunday July 21st when you will lifted from the river to the rim by helicopter. The crew cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. You sleep under the skies at night and ride the river during the day. Summary of the trip is below: Arrive in Page, UT on Sunday July 14 by 6pm at the Lake Powell resort for orientation. Transportation to Page and your hotel is not included. Hotel rooms range from $100 to $175 per night. You can car pool to Page or fly to Page from LAX or Las Vegas. Travel arrangements to / from river will be organized after sign-ups complete. On Monday you will be picked up at the Lake Powell Resort and taken to the river for the start of your rafting week. There are 2 rafts and only 28 total spaces available. You only need to bring your personal belongings. Wilderness River Adventures provides sleeping bags and cot, tent, camp chair, water proof stowage for camera and cloths, your own River Adventures T-Shirt, Hat, Cup, Lifejackets, all meals on the river, soft drinks and drinking water. The trip ends on Sunday July 21st you will be lifted by helicopter to the Bar 10 Ranch where you can take a hot shower and get cleaned up. You will then be provided with a flight back to Page or Las Vegas which is included. Price is $2405 per person, $300 due at reservation, $1000 due on January 16, 2013 and final payment of $1105 is due May 1, 2013. All payments are non refundable unless a replacement is substituted. You must be a club member and make all payment deadlines to maintain your spot on the trip. No replacements/name changes after May 1, 2013. Travel insurance is recommended. Make all checks payable to the Conejo Ski & Sport Club. Sign-ups start on August 15th, 2012 at 7pm at the club meeting.
