Overview • Instruct how to create an Audioboo account • Demonstrate how to follow a featured boo • Learn how to upload a video through a file • Steps on how personalize each boo with a title, image, and location. • Download the AudioBoo application to a iPhone or Anadroid. • Put it to the test with an online assessment!

  3. Goals Young adults and business professionals will learn how to use AudioBooby signing up for an account, finding friends boo’s to follow, and mastering the steps to uploading their own boo’s.

  4. Objectives • Through this instructional presentation young adults and business professionals will be able to: • Access Audiooo • Login using an email and password successfully • Personalize their AudioBooaccount • Follow a featured boo under the “browse audioboo” tab • Upload a video from a file • Add a title and tag others in your first boo • Add an image for your first boo • Add a location for fellow AudioBoo users to identify your boo.

  5. You may already know how to… • Upload a video on Facebook • Tag friends in photos or videos on Facebook • Upload a tweet on Twitter • @Mention followers on Twitter • Add locations to tweets

  6. Time to get social! Now that you know the goals and objectives, lets set up your own personal AudioBooaccount so your friends, family, and the rest of the world can hear what you have to say!

  7. Access To access AudioBooopen Mozilla Firefox or any other internet browser located on your desktop or Start menu. Double click on Mozilla Firefox!

  8. Locate AudioBoo • Next step once Firefox is opened, type in the websites URL: http://audioboo.fm/ • Press enter to go!

  9. Next: Click the “sign up” button

  10. Sign up for your own account! Already have a Twitter? This option will shorten your sign up process! Enter your email address to get an activation link sent to you!

  11. Congrats!

  12. You’re almost there!! CLICK HERE!

  13. Register Complete these three steps and you will have your very own Audioboo account! Click here to proceed!

  14. You did it! Make sure your username is correct!

  15. Personalize your account Click on the settings tab to move onto the next step!

  16. Personalize Enter some information about yourself so AudioBoo users can get to know you better! Upload a default picture that will appear on your profile!

  17. My boos Next click on the tab labeled, “my boos” to view your profile!

  18. Find a boo to follow! Click here to get a pull down menu and click on “Featured boos” A couple more click of a button and you will have your first AudioBoo friend!

  21. CONGRATS! So far we have: • Created an AudioBoo account • Personalized it • Added a featured boo to follow …now lets upload your first boo!

  22. Now lets get to the real fun stuff! Click on the tab labeled “home” to get back to the main screen! You’re doing great!!!

  23. Upload your first boo tutorial • First make sure you have a working microphone • Or you can upload a video through a saved file on your computer On the homepage click this button to upload your first boo!

  24. Upload a file Click this option! Both are easy options but his tutorial is going to teach you how to upload through a file.

  25. Select a file Select a file from your desktop!

  26. Happy? • Once you’re happy click the button below to add a title!

  27. Add some Info Add a title that suits the video you uploaded! Tag people who are in the video! …next click on the image tab!

  28. Add an Image Add an imaged that is saved on your desktop to make your boo pretty! …next lets click on the map tab to add a location!

  29. Add a location! READY, SET, PUBLISH! This allows your followers to see where this boo was added from!

Complete the following steps for this online assessment: • Create an AudioBoo account with a valid username and password • Personalize your account with a location, short bio about yourself, and a picture for your account! • Follow a featured boo of your choice (have fun and explore!) • Upload a video from a file that is saved on your desktop • Title and tag this boo • Add an image and location for this boo and PUBLISH it! • Optional: if you have an iPhone or Anadroid download the application so you can access AudioBoo from your phone!
