Do not use the name of the place you are describing in the poem. • Your first version of the poem will have 5 sentences. Each of the sentences will describe an image that is identified by one of the senses. They may all be basically the same. Ex: “I see the blue ocean waves rolling toward the shore.” “I smell the roasting pig for the evening luau.”
3. Your second version of the poem will also have 5 sentences. These sentences will describe the same images you described in the first version without mentioning the sense itself. Ex: “The indigo ocean waves curl their way to the shore.” “Roasting pig floats on the evening air.”
