Mission Welvista is committed to improving health and wellness for the uninsured, and underinsured by providing access to prescription medications and pediatric dental services to children in underserved areas.
2009 Accomplishments • The William E. Murray Pharmacy served 15,638 patients by dispensing 135,342 prescriptions at a value of $47.2 million • Launched Out of State Pilot Programs with: • Central Dallas Ministries and Baylor Healthcare System in Dallas, Texas • Delaware Foundation for Medical Services in Delaware • NewarkNow and Heinz Family Foundation in New Jersey
Our Pharmaceutical Partners Drug list covers over 70 different therapeutic drug classes and includes over 220 legend non-controlled; oral, topical, inhalation and injectable drugs.
ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) ADAPs provide life-saving HIV treatments to low income, uninsured and underinsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS in all 50 states. A new collaboration between Welvista, Heinz Philanthropies and Abbott was developed to provide no-cost medication to any patient on state ADAP waiting list who needs HIV medications.

How to Access HIV/AIDS Medications • The patient must be currently on a State ADAP waiting list • The State ADAP Coordinator must sign the form authorizing the patient to receive medications • The completed form must be faxed to Welvista at the number on the form - 1-877-801-8146 • It may be necessary to submit the form to the Healthcare provider for prescription information • Once the prescribing authority has completed the prescription, it can be faxed directly to Welvista at 1-877-801-8146 by the Healthcare provider
