What do we do at DP-EVH? or to give it its Sunday Name. ‘The Disabled People’s Electronic Village Hall’ Well, we change lives or to be more exact, we help people who have suffered some sort of trauma or depredation in their lives to regain their confidence and self esteem. All, or the majority of the students and indeed a lot of Tutors have been in the same position, at sometime or other. So understand what is needed to help. Everyone at DP-EVH are willing to help, talk and listen. ‘NO STRANGERS HERE, ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVE NOT MET YET’.

  8. Students when they first come to DP-EVH soon fit in. Indeed we tend to get a progression of students taking more courses, gaining more confidence and self esteem, then coming into classes to volunteer or getting a job. Helping the tutors, taking more advanced courses and going on to become Tutors themselves.
