  1. IMI Supply Chain Compliance engineering advantage • In 2011, over 120 supplier audits took place and this process continues to be reviewed and enhanced in 2012. As a result, • We have insisted on supplier improvement plans and, where appropriate, we have exited from relationships with a number of suppliers who were not able to meet our strict responsible business requirements. • We routinely evaluate the risk of each supplier on responsible business and train our auditors to evaluate suppliers.  • We are totally committed to the protection of the environment, the health and safety of suppliers employees and ensuring our supply chain is free from slavery and human trafficking. • IMI has also signed up to the United Nations Global Compact on the protection of human rights.
