Astro2010 Panel on Electromagnetic Observations from Space (EOS)‏ Summary As one of the four Astro2010 Program Prioritization Panels (PPP) the EOS panel is charged with recommending a prioritized, balanced, and integrated research program which includes a rank ordering of research activities and a balanced technology development program for space-based facilities that observe in the electromagnetic spectrum. Notes:1. Recommendations based on analysis of many submitted science, mission, and technology white papers and science panel reports. 2. Space-based particle and gravity (LISA) activities considered by a different PPP. 3. Recommendations from all panels will be integrated / modified by Programs subcommittee and Decadal Survey committee. 4. Reports go to NASA, NSF, and DOD for their future planning efforts.
