This project aims to reduce energy usage and carbon emissions in residential areas across Europe through monitoring and behavioral analysis. The agenda includes project meetings, deliverables, survey campaigns, preliminary results, and strategies for energy efficiency. Key activities involve data collection, monitoring campaigns, database updates, and policy recommendations. The project also emphasizes dissemination of results, stakeholder workshops, and administrative procedures for budget transfers and extensions. To collect all requests for budget transfer (preferably 6 months before the end of the project) • Partners: Please be aware that the rules set out at the EACI website need to be followed by each partner: • Form A • Cover letter justifying the budget transfer • New CPF (reflecting only the budget transfer, no other changes) • Coordinator: New Annex II (summary of all budget transfers) and letter from the coordinator justifying each budget transfer (no implication on Annex I): • http://ec.europa.eu/energy/intelligent/implementation/doc/budget_transfer_2004_explanations.pdf Administrative issues
Administrative issues - Extension of the project PO has discussed the request for extension of the EIE-05-124 REMODECE project with the EACI hierarchy. The EACI agrees only in exceptional cases to a project extension. “ The EC understand that due to the delayed data monitoring and survey you would like to extend the REMODECE project by 4 months to be on the safe side but this is not a sufficient duly justified case to agree to a project extension for the agency. Recommendation: Make any effort to finish the data monitoring and survey latest until end of April 2008 and to focus on finishing the other deliverables, including the important communication and dissemination on the REMODECE database and software tool, latest until end of June 2008 (end of project). The detailed schedule and to-do-list for the remaining period of the project should be a main discussion point for your upcoming project meeting.”
Interim Payment February 24, 2008: Project Officer Message: “EACI has approved the Interim Technical Implementation Report, Financial department will process with the next steps according to article I.5.2 of the grant agreement. Please take all recommendations in consideration that you will receive by fax in due time from our head of unit, Vincent Berrutto.”
