  7. Let’s practice color coding a paragraph! My favorite season of the year is summer. First, I love summer because the weather is warm. When it is warm outside, I am able to swim everyday. Also, I love summer because we are able to go on vacation. My family and I go to the beach every June and stay for two weeks. Finally, I love summer because of the great food we eat in the summertime. For example, my grandpa’s watermelons are ready to pick, and we cut one open every Sunday afternoon. Wow, summer is my favorite time of year!

  9. Try one on your own… There are many types of bad weather that can be frightening. One type is a thunderstorm with lightning. Thunderstorms can be loud, and lightning can strike objects around you. Another type is a tornado. Tornadoes, also called twisters, can tear through houses and knock down everything in their path. The last type is a hurricane. Hurricanes form over the ocean and can cause huge waves to crash on shore. Each of these types of weather can be terrifying and dangerous.
