The Pacific Energy and Gender Network (PEG) aims for gender equity in energy development in the Pacific region. Established in 2005, PEG engages energy officials and organizations to integrate gender into energy projects. Challenges like weak monitoring and financial constraints exist, but opportunities through training manuals and collaborations with partners pave the way for empowering women in the energy sector.
