SAMPE Chapter Relations Meeting 03/05/2013Midwest Input- Kristin Cable SAMPE Student Chapters - Make sure that your emails are getting to the students (resolved with Patricia) -contact the leaders of the student groups directly, they can then be the conduit to transfer information such as upcoming events to the rest of the students - encourage them to create a plan for the year and request funds to help support - in the past, UD has had a "SAMPE day" and a dinner event, nothing this year though - host a student-centric event such as symposium (ideas on how to boost attendance at this event would be appreciated!) - we had good attendance at the first tour at Bastech, maybe they would engage more at these types of events
