Problem Definition • High cost of commercial software licenses and high training cost for engineers • “Black box” tendency - What are the technical selection and algorithms used? • Inability to customize any specific features to suit the need of individual user with great simplicity
Objectives • Developing a single stand-alone field database software and integrated with customary applications used in oil & gas Industries. • Creating a software that has a simple and user-friendly application to ensure good reserves monitoring and maximizing reserves potential.

Future Work & Recommendations • Adding the MATBAL analysis, Nodal Analysis, pipeline network, PTA modules into IFDM • Complete a 3D-3P, general purpose black oil simulator using conventional and unique grid-block systems (triangle & voronoi) • Converting VBA modules into IFDM • Validation of all IFDM modules with available commercial softwares
