  3. 4-H Round-Up • June 25-27 • Purdue University • Grades 7-9 • Live in a Purdue Residence Hall, meet youth from across Indiana, and attend career exploration sessions

  4. State 4-H Band & Chorus • June 23-25 (Band); June 23-27 (Chorus) • Purdue University • Perform at Round-Up • Grades 9-12

  5. Purdue Science Workshops • June 13-15 • Purdue University • Grades 9-12 • Aerospace, Animal (large & small), Computer, Engineering, Food & Nutrition, P.I.N.E. (Plant, Insects, Natural Resources, and Environment), Robotics

  6. State 4-H Junior Leader Conference • June 19-22 • University of Indianapolis • Grades 9-12 • Activities include… • Skill Sessions • State Park Group meetings • Keynote speaker • General sessions • Recreation • Dance

  7. Electric Workshop • June 22-24 • Purdue University • Completed Division 3 or above of Electric Project • Wire switches and receptacles • Build a magnetic powered flashlight. • Use of meters to measure electrical current, voltage and resistance. • Build an electronic "Decision Maker".

  8. Indiana State Fair Youth Leadership Conference • July 31 – August 4 • State Fairgrounds • Grades 9-12 • Activities include… • Help with the Indiana State Fair • Debate mock legislation at Indiana State House • Develop board proposals for State Fair Directors • Prepare meal for State Fair Directors

  9. Indiana 4-H Youth & Adult Congress • November 10 • Indiana State Fairgrounds • Grades 8-12 • Experience leadership lessons with 4-H members from across Indiana • Keynote speaker • Banquet honoring 4-H Accomplishment Scholarship recipients

State Fair 4-H Exhibit Workers • 4-H members at least 15 years old by the start of work • End of July through the end of the Indiana State Fair (full and part-time positions available) • Assist with 4-H Exhibit Building set-up, check-in, judging, tear-down, and public relations with fair-goers. • Applications available through County Extension office and are due April 1.
