Intro My project for midterm is all bout love and the effects its got everywhere in history and in stories (I may sound like a hippy but whateves)
Handsomest drowned man Even though he was a stranger, the entire village slowly gained love for the dead man they named “Stefan”
T to T Connection Love not me for comely grace Love not me for comely grace,For my pleasing eye or face;Nor for any outward part,No, nor for my constant heart:For those may fail or turn to ill,So thou and I shall sever.Keep therefore a true woman's eye,And love me still, but know not why;So hast thou the same reason stillTo doat upon me ever. John Wilbye I think this poem fits in with the story “the handsomest drowned man” because of the line “and love me still, but know not why;” it’s the same way in HDM but they love him but don’t know why.
T to T Connection This Very Hour If all the kind deeds never done Should blossom into flower, The earth would be a paradise This very hour. Anonymous I think that this poem has a connection to the story because of the lines “all the kind deeds never done should blossom in to a flower; the earth would be a paradise” because in the HDM they plant flowers on the cliff, to remember this man, and in the poem; I think they plant to remember the deeds never done.
T to S Connection How this topic relates to me would have to be…. That there was this stray Saint Bernard puppy outside when I was little I took it in my house and cared for it when my parents got home they said no but also that we can keep him until we found a home for him within two weeks the puppy found a home ours
Conclusion To conclude this lovely power-point; all of the connections are that even if you don’t know someone, or something, they still can find a way into your heart.
