  2. When did it started? • MATE International ROV competition Started for the first time in 2002 at Florida, US.

  3. When was its first time in Egypt? • ROV Egypt Regional Competition was launched for the first time in Egypt in 2012in cooperation with MATE Centre and organized by Hadath for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Caetus Team

  4. Steps of the Competition • You have to fill the registration form on the link: http://rovegypt.org/registration.html • Reading the Manuals of the competition • Start to Design and Make your ROV • The first call (local competition of the governorates).

  5. Steps of the Competition • Then 2 teams from each governorate win and attend Egypt Regional ROV competition. • The teams start to compete then 2 teams win and attend MATE International ROV competition.

  6. How to compete? • The competition is about:your team represents a ROV company and there’s a problem happened somewhereunderwater. • You are trying to find the solution of that problem and you have to solve it to complete the mission.

  7. How to win? • You win only when you collect the highest points score which are separated on 3 parts: • The safety check • Dry run (company poster, project presentation, technical report) • Mission (only the half of the points)
