  15. Psalm 62:5-8 Leader: For God alone, o my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. Congregation: He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

  16. Leader: Trust in Him at all times, O people; our out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Let us declare our dependence together.

  17. Congregation: Dear refuge of our weary souls, on you – when every sorrow has arisen; when every wave of trouble has rolled – in the midst of life’s storms, our fainting hope relies on You. To you we cast each and every rising grief because you alone can heal. Your Word can bring a sweet relief to every pain we feel. Amen.

  18. Dear Refuge of My Weary Soul Dear refuge of my weary soul, On Thee, when sorrows rise; On Thee, when waves of trouble roll, My fainting hope relies.

  19. On Thee I cast each rising grief, For Thou alone canst heal. Thy Word can bring a sweet relief For every pain I feel; this pain I feel.

  20. But oh! When gloomy doubts prevail, I fear to call Thee mine. The springs of comfort seem to fail, and all my hopes decline.

  21. Yet, gracious God, where shall I flee? Thou art my only trust. And still my soul shall cleave to Thee Though prostrate in the dust; in the dust.

  22. Hast Thou not bid me seek Thy face, and shall I seek in vain? And can the ear of sovereign grace Be deaf when I complain?

  23. No still the ear of sovereign grace attends the mourner’s prayer. Oh, may I ever find access To breathe my sorrows there.

  24. Thy mercy seat is open still. Here let my soul retreat. With humble hope attend Thy will And wait beneath Thy feet. (x2) Words: Anne Steele (1791) Arr: Riverside Worship Project, Dan Emerson CCLI: 11148322

  25. Come Ye Sinners Come ye sinners, poor and wretched; Weak and wounded, sick and sore. Jesus, ready, stands to save you, Full of pity, love and power.

  26. Come ye needy, come and welcome; God’s free bounty glorify: True belief and true repentance, and every grace that brings you nigh.

  27. I will rise and go to Jesus. He will embrace me in His arms. In the arms of my dear Savior, O, there are ten thousand charms.

  28. Come ye weary, heavy laden, bruised and broken by the fall. If you tarry ‘til you’re better, you will never come at all.

  29. I will rise and go to Jesus. He will embrace me in His arms. In the arms of my dear Savior, O, there are ten thousand charms.

  30. View Him prostrate in the garden; On the ground your Maker lies. On the bloody tree behold Him; Sinner, will this not suffice? On the bloody tree behold Him; Sinner, will this not suffice?

  31. I will rise and go to Jesus. He will embrace me in His arms. In the arms of my dear Savior, O, there are ten thousand charms. “Come Ye Sinners” Words: Joseph Hart (1759) Arrangement: Revolution Church CCLI: 11148322

  32. Ecclesiastes 10:8-11:6 “Sucking Out the Venom” Sermon notes @ http://bible.com/e/1H4b

  33. Ecclesiastes 10:8-11:6 8 He who digs a pit will fall into it,    and a serpent will bite him who breaks through a wall.9 He who quarries stones is hurt by them,    and he who splits logs is endangered by them.10 If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge,  he must use more strength,    but wisdom helps one to succeed.11 If the serpent bites before it is charmed,    there is no advantage to the charmer.

  34. 12 The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor,    but the lips of a fool consume him.13 The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness,    and the end of his talk is evil madness.14 A fool multiplies words,    though no man knows what is to be,    and who can tell him what will be after him?15 The toil of a fool wearies him,    for he does not know the way to the city.

  35. 16 Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child,    and your princes feast in the morning!17 Happy are you, O land, when your king is the son of the nobility, and your princes feast at the proper time,    for strength, and not for drunkenness!18 Through sloth the roof sinks in,    and through indolence the house leaks.19 Bread is made for laughter,    and wine gladdens life,    and money answers everything.20 Even in your thoughts, do not curse the king,    nor in your bedroom curse the rich, for a bird of the air will carry your voice,    or some winged creature tell the matter.

  36. 11 Cast your bread upon the waters,    for you will find it after many days.2 Give a portion to seven, or even to eight,    for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.3 If the clouds are full of rain,    they empty themselves on the earth, and if a tree falls to the south or to the north,    in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.4 He who observes the wind will not sow,    and he who regards the clouds will not reap. .

  37. 5 As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything. 6 In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good
