About EWB • Help developing communities meet their basic human needs • Travel internationally – current projects in Honduras and Dominican • Open to all majors • Also involved in outreach at home – philanthropic events and educational outreach to grade school students. Currently putting engineering/science workshop for middle and highschool students

Committees • Projects • Acquire new projects • Plan technical design of projects • Complete project paperwork for EWB-USA • Implement Projects • Oversee Helath and Safety while traveling • Work with developing communities • Membership • Retain and bring in new members • Advertise meetings and create fliers • Develop member resources • Publicity • Develop media contacts • Advertise events and meetings • Act as face of EWB • Give interviews and write stories • Fundraising • Grants • Sponsorship • EIT Review • Restaurant Fundraisers • Special Events • Thirsty Thursdays • Outreach • Philanthropic Events • Bringing Speakers/Movies • Field trips • Educational Outreach • Community development and partnerships

Updates • Rubios/Daphnes – Thanks! • Voter Registration • Travel to DR, Dec 1st - 6th – application to travel in a few weeks • Info Meeting Oct. 7th at 5:30 pm • Travel to Honduras, Jan 2nd-16th • Creating Sister Org • Name ideas • President, Anna Ostermeyer • Need AESC Rep • Redoing the Board

Upcoming Events • Wells Fargo Ceremony • Rubios/Panda Fundrasier, Oct 11th • EIT review, starts Oct 12th, sign ups start Monday • Bamboo Lounge – Social and Fundraiser, Thursday 6-9pm • Field Trip to Metro Biosolids Center - sigup • WC Conference – Oct 30th-31st in San Fran • Volunteer at Soup Kitchen – Nov. • Autism walk this Saturday, 10am, Liberty Station
