Sacred Instructions Neglected • The Bible contains the very words of God • We should hold its contents in high regard • Failure to pattern our lives after God’s instructions is sinful • “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” • II Timothy 3:16-17

  2. Satan Is Near • Satan is a formidable opponent • Satan wants to engulf our lives in sin • With God’s help, we can resist the devil • “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” • I Peter 5:8
