  2. Leadership Development - Mission The Leadership Development Community of Practice is a group of individuals voluntarily working to improve themselves and the company by learning to become self-leaders.

  3. Leadership Development - Goals • Establish self-leadership as a core competency • leadership that is not limited to hierarchical position • challenge self-imposed boundaries; become empowered • Incubate learning and risk taking in a supportive environment • promote a learning organization • Involve others in furthering self-initiated efforts for organizational change • influence others outside individual direct control • Encourage collaboration, destroying silos • identify and remove barriers to work flows • Communicate best ideas and practices
