Hesitation • The act of hesitating; a delay due to uncertainty of mind or fear. • She had little hesitation when she preformed on stage for the first time.
Incredulous • Disinclined or indisposed to believe; indicating or showing unbelief. • She is almost incredulous at how her circumstances have changed.
Nonchalantly • Cooly unconcerned, indifferent, unexcited, or casual. • His heart pounded in his chest, as he tried to look nonchalant.
Rebellious • Defying or resisting some established authority. • Most kids are rebellious.
Reputation • The estimation in which a person or thing is held. • The restaurant has a good reputation.
Rivalry • The action, position, or relation of a person or thing is held. • There is a rivalry between Yale and Harvard.
Sarcasm • A sharply ironical taunt. • When giving feedback avoid sarcasm or highly negative remarks.
Sympathetic • Feeling sympathy, compassionate. • I am a sympathetic listener.
Unfathomable • Difficult or impossible to understand. • We were amazed at the unfathomable depth of the ocean.
