What Kind of Work Did They Have to do ? • Mostly they done whatever job had to be done. • A lot of people were block guards • Those who couldn’t work because they were too ill were sent to die.
What Were Rooms Like? • The Germans put as many people in one room as possible. • The campers slept in bunk beds but about 10 people would sleep at the bottom and the same at the top.
How Many Death Camps Are There in the World? • There was 6 death camps. • They are Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, Treblinka. • All these camps were located in Poland. • There were more camps in the world but they were not death camps. • Some were even located in Germany.
Did Anyone Try to Stop The Holocaust? • No one done anything about the Holocaust until the U.S. came in with the allies and marched over Germany. • Before the U.S. came in nothing was done but they could have bombed the railways going into the camps.
