  3. BACKGROUND ARUSHI IS SBT’s SHELTER FOR GIRLS. IT WAS STARTED ON 4TH OCTOBER 1999 WITH THE SUPPORT OF USAID. ARUSHI- THE FIRST RAYS OF THE SUN IS A NEW BEGINNING FOR THE INMATES.

  4. VISION HELP DEVELOP AN EDUCATED, INDEPENDENT AND EMPOWERED INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL LEAD A LIFE WITH DIGNITY AND DEMAND THEIR RIGHTS FROM THE SOCIETY.

  14. HIGHLIGHTS • FINALLY OUR OWNSHELTER • 6 CHILDREN SELECTED TO UNDERGO JOB TRAINING WITH ‘PIZZA HUT’ • LAXMI ENACTED IN A DOCUMENTARY ‘NAYA BHARAT’ • 3 CHILDREN WON PRIZES IN PAINTING ON WORLD HABITAT DAY

  15. FUTURE PLANS • RESULT ORIENTED PROGRAM • RESTRUCTURE THE ON GOING PROGRAMME • STRENGTHEN NETWORKS AND CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS FUND- RAISING • INITIATE STAFF MOTIVATION PROGRAM
