Connecting the Wiring • Before attempting to connect the live and neutral wires to a UFO light make sure to: • Turn off the mains power supply. • Wear rubber shoes and gloves for ensuring safety while installation • UFO high bay light fixtures come with an inbuilt driver from where the input wires protrude. • Spot a power supply and connect the live (brown/ black) and neutral (blue/ white) wires coming from the UFO light’s driver. • Secure the connection by using wire nuts, wire tape, or push-in clamps. • If you want to integrate dimmers, motion sensors and photocells, check the compatibility on your UFO light fixture’s label.

Mounting The Fixture In general, UFO high bay lights allow a hook-style and ceiling style mounting. • Hook -Mount • To perform hook mounting you must see if the ceiling has pre-installed hooks.  • If you want to install the UFO light on the beams running across an indoor area, you’ll have to use screw-in hooks.  • The hook-type mounting is simple and easy to install. It also allows you to make a temporary lighting set up. 

  6. Ceiling  Mount • This mounting-style allows permanent and more secure installation.  • Most manufacturers do not provide a u-bracket in the UFO high bay light packaging. So, if you plan to perform a ceiling mount, buy the accessories beforehand. • The ceiling mount allows a 50° left-right tilt, so you can shift the light’s beam angle by preference and need • To perform the installation, first screw-in the U-bracket onto the ceiling. • Then, screw-in the UFO high bay to the U-bracket.
