Abram’s (Abraham’s) faith- an example to follow • Genesis 12:1-4 – God’s promise to Abram • Genesis 15:5,6 – Abram trusts in God despite facing the reality of his own physical limitations (Romans 4:19) • Genesis 22:16 – after Abraham had offered Isaac as a sacrifice, God increases the blessing
Jesus’ understanding of Abraham’s faith – John 8 • Abraham rejoiced “to see my day”.
