  4. What will the Children and Families Bill Cover? • Presumption of Mainstream education • Increase support for special schools funding • Special Academies Admissions • Promoting choice

  5. What does the Children and Families Bill cover? • Provide a single integrated education, health and care assessment and planning process • Local Offer • Personal budgets for children and young people and their families

  6. ALLFIE’S VIEW ON THE BILL • Who will be covered? • No right to access mainstream education • No right to access SEN provision • Easier to access special schooling

  7. ALLFIE’S VIEW ON THE BILL • No right to buy own support • Does not cover university education • Job done – will remove the bias towards inclusive education
