  1. HANDBALL GAME History Of Handball Game. Handball originated in Germany and introduced by Conrad Koch.The first name given to the game was RAFTBALL,later in 1230 both Greece and Roman changed it to CATCHBALL. In 1919,Mr Carl Schlenz,known as the father of handball,was the first to give the name HANDBALL.He also developed the rules and reduced the court 40m by 20m.Handball was brought to Nigeria by Dr C.C.Glover in 1972 and HFN was formed in 1972.

  2. Nature Of Handball Game. Its played by two teams of seven players each including a goalkeeper and five substitutes.The game is started by a throw-off at the centre of the court.
