  3. Raw findings • Several temperators sensors are clearly affected while most are not. Some pumps readings are probably a reflexion of the temp changes (as Artem suggested )although I have not checked the physical coorelations.The list is given below for all steps greater than 1 deg F. • Although a 1 def F variation may seem small , I have checked that these variations constitute the most significant step in the last month or two months, ie the step on Oct 30, 9h18 is very visible on that time scale. Besides Her bellows (see furthre), the largest temperature changes are: • NearIR Q5LV3 -10 , Q4LV3 -8 • in the LER kicker T3018K53 -10 , T3040P01 +20, T3018P02 -50 , T3044bl2 +20 • The LER arc pumps do not exhibit a pressure change except two :VP4010 in PR10 and PR6 +30% change in each cases • Some HER straight pumps exhibit a 15% pressure change • The list of collimators that see the changes: • HER coll. • PR04: BLSC8035, 8062,9012 • PR12: 8072(*),9012,9062 (* this is the one I showed yesterday located in pr12 not PR02) • LER coll. • PR12: 4062,3092,3042 • PR4 :3074,3054,3040 • Finally, one must not forget that the sensors not indicated in the list below were looked at and do not see any change, which is also a piece of information. Conclusion • Bunch pattern effects in the LER: Multipacting variation • Definite evidence for multipacting reduction in the LER straight sections in all pumps showing a downward pressure step following the bunch pattern change of Oct 30, 9h18 • Mere translation for Pressure vs Current curves for pumps showing an upwards transistion (temperature effect?) • Mixture of these effects in the othr pumps to be investigated • No pressure change observed in the LER arcs except on PR6 and PR10 VP4010 (+30% effect) • Bunch pattern effects in the HER: most dramatic effect seen up to now is temperature change on bellows. Two categories • Temperature rise, from a few deg to +40 deg (PR2-9092, PR2-6042 but also PR10 6042 (10 deg) , Pr10 9132 (10 deg) • In almost all cases, obvious resonance behaviour at the bellow • Except PR4-8042 +10 deg jump without resonance • Jump downward of a few deg (5 typical), compensating a similar jump upwards which occurred on Oct 25 Guy Wormser , LAL Orsay
