Welcome to the Cub Section of the 2016-17 scouting year at 6th Richmond Hill Scout Group. Established in 1996 and sponsored by St. Agnes KouyingTsao Catholic Church, we have been active for 20 years, making us one of the largest Catholic Scouts Groups in Canada. Our Cub Pack is designed for children aged 8 to 10 years old. Discover the origins of our group's name and the significance of our yellow and white scarves. Learn about the Wolf Cub Promise, Law, and Motto, as well as our lair formations and youth leaders. Get to know our dedicated Scouters in Pack 1 and Pack 2, and understand the roles they play. Our scouting year runs from mid-September to mid-June, with weekly meetings on Thursday nights at Sir John A. Macdonald Public School in Markham, Ontario. Parents are expected to ensure their child's full uniform and attendance at meetings, events, and special activities. Stay updated on event registrations, deadlines, and important communications from Scouters. Children's safety is a priority, so make sure to follow sign-in/sign-out procedures and adhere to our guidelines for respectful and responsible behavior. Engage in creative expressions, values, outdoor activities, citizenship initiatives, and Catholic elements in our program. Join us for the upcoming Cub Pack Program from June 30 to July 2, 2017.
