MyAdmissions: Home Page • Can be accessed directly by typing myadmissions.ucdavis. edu url or indirectly through link on why.ucdavis.edu Web site. • On March 15, page will contain a link to the parents’ page.
MyAdmissions: Account Set Up Page • This page is “owned” by IET. For technical assistance, users should call IET Express at 754-HELP. • Users can create an account using Student ID or Social Security number.
MyAdmissions: ID/Username Reset • Users can retrieve username and reset password through this page. • Link is located on MyAdmissions home page. • This page is also “owned” by IET. For technical assistance, users should call IET Express at 754-HELP.
MyAdmissions: Parents’ Page • Can be accessed directly by typing myadmissions.ucdavis. edu/parents or indirectly through link on MyAdmissions home page. • Postcard to parents will go out a few days after admissions letters. • Mix of original content and MyAdmissions content for admitted students. • Features include: • Letter from Pam • Event listings • Important Dates and Deadlines • Aggie Family Pack • Explore UC Davis • Campus Resources • FAQs
MyAdmissions: Application Pending Page • Note message center icon and address change (my info) icon • Transfer version does not show test scores
MyAdmissions: Congratulations Page • Page shows personalized information • name, term admitted, major • deposit amount, if necessary (some students qualify for fee waiver) • “Critical Information” has customized links based on student information: • Admissions contract (all) • Financial aid award (link for all) • Important dates and deadlines for freshman or transfer (all) • Information for special program participants • Regents scholarship award notification • More • Explore UC Davis and Campus Resource Pages give more information that are important to prospective students
MyAdmissions: Explore UC Davis • Faculty and student profiles • Important academic opportunities, such as special programs for engineering students, etc. • Student life • Statistics • Touring campus information/virtual tour • Can be accessed by anyone through the parents’ page
MyAdmissions: Campus Resources • “Nuts and Bolts” info: Housing, Advising, Financial Aid, Registration, etc. • Can be accessed by anyone through the parents’ page.
MyAdmissions: Conditions of Admission • Admits MUST accept the Conditions of Admission to SIR. • Varies by student type. Some students receive requirements specific to their circumstance.
MyAdmissions: Payment Page • Admits can pay immediately by credit card or print out a form and send in a check or money order. • 92% of students paid by credit card last year. • For check payers: Form and check must be postmarked by the SIR deadline.
MyAdmissions: Confirmation Page • Payment confirmation number provided if fee is not waived (this screen shot is for an EOP admit)
MyAdmissions: Parent Information • New this year: Request for parent/guardian information (OP mandate)
MyAdmissions: Confidentiality Preference • Users asked whether they want their information to be in the public record (such as in the directory listings). • Page is skipped if preference previously collected (such as while attending a summer session class).
MyAdmissions: E-mail Setup Page • The e-mail account setup is mandatory. • Instructs users to check e-mail for official communication. • E-mail account creation pages administered by IET. Users with technical issues should call IET Express (754-HELP).
MyAdmissions: Transaction Page • This is the “terminal” page--acts as a hub of information and transactions • Note appearance of e-mail link • Admission Status page shows dynamic & generic links of information items: copy of admissions contract, payment receipt (if applicable), Important Dates, etc. • Transactions column shows action items • Action items are dynamic in two ways: • Personalized for student type: international students, transfer students, freshmen, etc. all see a different list of items • Can show when something is pending, completed, residency status, etc. • Completed items move to bottom of list. • Relevant items (such as Explore UC Davis) carried over from Congrats page for student reference, plus new items added to help introduce students to other campus systems
