ISERE AREA (38) Unusual Use Cases by G2I ABSTRACT G2I – and SCORE@F associated to think about several use cases … • System of inter-vehicle «normalized» communication • The idea : To establish a system of standardized inter-vehicle communication to avoid misunderstandings with the existing limited road modes of communication as the horn or flashing headlights . • The citizencar • The idea : This system involves a function that prevents the car from starting if the pollution is too high. The user is warned first upstream through a communication device (computer, smartphone or tablet, for example) of the pollution peak and the risk of not being able to use his car considered as being particularly harmful. A proposed solution for its needs (carpooling, courtesy car, alternative transport or public transport) should be made thereafter. • Debit and automaticsanction • The idea : Information and sanction immediately after any infraction of the road with a display on the vehicle’s HMI. • Reenchantmentof automobile ride • The idea : Route optimization system based on preferences (taste for culture, for the camera, etc..), available time, budget, etc.. • The idea : Audio/Video guide allowing people traveling by car during their journeys to be informed of features throughout their travel (culinary, historical facts, most trivial anecdotes, etc.). • The idea : To give to car a more fun and friendly image integrating to GPS system a «Treasure Hunt», thereby making the car a leisure activity tool. Treasures to be discovered may be multiple : natural panorama, curiosities, specific objects, etc. • Hitch-hiking area • The idea : Implementation of specific areas of hitchhiking with a terminal system allowing to broadcast on X kilometers asking for transportation. • Car geolocationsystem • The idea : Ultra precise geolocation of vehicles coupled with a smartphone application for various things like for instance finding his car easily at any time (after the shopping, show, holiday returns, etc..). PARTNERS • Dynamic and personalizeddisplayof different available services during a ride • The idea : To enable economic and cultural actors (traders, theaters, museums, etc..) to communicate directly on their offer to targeted motorists passing in specific areas through the vehicles’ HMI.
