  1. What is FraternalsGIVE.org? A website designed to capture chapter activity data which will help society home offices streamline communications between headquarters and chapters/lodges.
  2. What is the challenge? Society home offices spend vast amounts of time and resources gathering data from chapters… the ultimate manual process project. Mixed results. Data that could be better. Volunteers find paperwork old fashioned; hard to stay organized. Summarizing chapter activity can be difficult when filling out the IRS Form 990. Solution: Automate this process with FraternalsGIVE.org.
  3. What are the Benefits of Using FraternalsGIVE.org? Easy to use Significantly less paperwork Built in security All your society’s chapter data in one place Simplified reporting for volunteers Chapters don’t need email to participate!
  4. History – How Did This All Start? Alliance Chapter of the Future Task Force Demo of Catholic Financial Life (CFL) system Discussions with CFL about how their system made a significant impact; majority of chapters embrace – more each year Selection of vendor who understands fraternals Working group of volunteers helped us refine the system and consider all scenarios This system is a great fit for most fraternals at a reasonable cost. Creating this on your own would be cost prohibitive.
  5. The “society admin” can choose to set up a login and password registration for the chapters, or the society admin can send chapter leaders to this area to do it themselves.

  7. User Satisfaction This needs to work for you! A user group meeting will be held in November 2014 by phone. Participants can express what is working and what can be improved for 2015.

  10. How to Participate in FraternalsGIVE.org Participating societies pay $2,500 annually for unlimited users. The benefits of automating this process, eliminating paperwork, simplifying the reporting process for volunteers and the better data will make this investment a sound one! A basic user agreement must be signed. Soon to be made available on the Alliance website. Step one: after receiving payment and agreement, the Alliance creates a single login for that society tied to the person responsible for working with chapters to use this system. Customer Service: the Alliance will be the front line for basic online training and when society admins or chapter leaders have questions or problems. Basic inquiries by chapter leaders will be answered directly or forwarded to society admins.
  11. How to Participate in FraternalsGIVE.org Participating societies are responsible for choosing which chapters will use FraternalsGIVE and explaining this opportunity to them. Societies will have the following at their disposal to help educate the benefits to chapter leaders: Alliance website and FraternalsGIVE; webinar tutorial replays such as this one. Participating societies are responsible for providing chapters leaders with guidance on best practices that deviate from Alliance Reporting Tips and with determining how frequently a chapter leader should go into the system (after every event, monthly, quarterly etc.)
